English young classes 6-9 years
Dolphin beginner (takes place Wednesday in Kildeskovshallens childrens pool 32 degrees)
Dolphin Beginner is for children aged 6–8 years who have either attended one of the club’s previous classes or are new swimmers who feel comfortable in the water but have not yet learned to swim. The lessons are based on fundamental swimming skills and continue to develop water confidence, movement, and introductory swimming techniques. The goal is to develop confident and independent swimmers who gradually become ready for the next level in the swim school. Dolphin Beginner swims in the children’s pool at Kildeskovhallen (32°C).
Dolphin advanced (takes place Wednesday in Kildeskovshallens childrens pool 32 degrees)
For the independent beginner or average swimmer between the ages of 6-8 years old, who knows of freestyle and backstroke and can float on ones front and back, has experience with swimming butterfly legs and can do a flip turn with little difficulty. The swimmer will learn how to do freestyle and backstroke and be acquainted with the butterfly style. Furthermore the swimmer will be taught to do a head-first-dive.
Whale (takes place Wednesday in Kildeskovshallens 25m pool 28 degrees)
The experiences swimmer between the ages of 6-8 years old, who has no problem swimming 25-50 meters in freestyle and backstroke, doing a head-first-dive, knowledge of swimming butterfly kicks. The swimmer will learn to do a flip turn followed by a streamline push-off in freestyle and backstroke. The swimmer will learn the correct method when taking breaths in freestyle and backstroke and how to do an official-started dive. The swimmers endurance will be exercised and evolved through longer freestyle and backstroke intervals.
Shark (swimming Wednesday once a week in Kildeskovshallens dive pool 28 degrees)
For the evolved swimmer between the ages of 7-9 years old, who has no trouble swimming 100 meters in freestyle and backstroke, can perform a correct official-started dive, can correctly execute butterfly kicks and has basic dexterities in breaststroke kicks, can perform a flip turn followed by streamline in crawl/backstroke and breath correctly in freestyle. The swimmer will learn to swim butterfly and backstroke with the appropriate flip turns associated with those styles. The swimmers endurance will furthermore be strained by long intervals.
