The group is aimed at swimmers aged approximately 9–15 years who have developed an interest in swimming through the swim school and want to place extra focus on improving their swimming skills with two weekly training sessions.
At Aquachamp2B, swimmers are offered two weekly training sessions of 1 hour each. Before each session, there is a 10-minute dryland warm-up. On Saturdays, there is additionally 60 minutes of dryland training combined with the water session. Both sessions are taking place in the dive pool (28 degrees).
The group primarily welcomes swimmers from Aquachamp1 & 2 Advanced, Mini Shark, Medley School 1 & 2, as well as the swim school groups Dolphin, Whale, Mini Shark, and Starter, when swimmers show motivation for more training or match the required level.
We expect swimmers to be able to swim backstroke and front crawl and to have at least basic knowledge of dolphin kicks (butterfly). They should also be able to perform a head-first dive from the pool edge and do somersaults in the water.
It is expected that swimmers acquire a pair of short swim fins, as these are primarily used during the first half of the season to support technical development, but will also continue to be used throughout the season for various training purposes.
